My deepest sympathy to all members of the Desmarais family. I just learned of Paul Sr's passing. I will have many fond memories of him while I worked in Ottawa for Burton's Limo Service over 30 years ago. May he rest in peace.

Andre, Paul Jr and Family, please accept our deepest sympathies at this time. Your father was a Great Man and has left a lasting legacy in his family.
Sincerly, Miles and Heather Schiller

We are very sad to hear about Mr. Desmarais' passing, a great void impossible to fill in the Desmarais family. We will cherish our memories of his kind and generous ways with our family, something we often talk about. May his beloved family find solace in the memories of this great man. With love and respect, Ralph and Vicki Weekes

When I met Mr. Desmarais I was so nervous, his daughter Sophie assured me that her father was down to earth. I then entered the Foyer in the family home, Mr Desmarais new my name and shook my hand as if he was expecting me and already knew all about me...in fact Mr Desmarais was organizing flowers (tulips) in a huge vase at the time. He made me feel at home and welcome. Sophie later went on to tell me flowers are comforting, soothing and he love.

I remember sitting with Sophie and Mr Desmarais over 30 years ago and we watching a hockey game in his study and Mr. Desmarais would repeatedly ask for the score in the game, Sophie said dad its still 3-2 for Montreal, he loved watching hockey, but it seemed to me he was thinking about work.

He changed my life. He changed our country

God Bless The Desmarais Family
