I remember David as an intelligent shop manager, of good humour, and kindliness. I will keep him in warm memory. My condolences to all his family. Blessings upon all.

I mourn for the loss David leaves in our lives.
David taught me about confidence at a time when things were stacked against me. I remember the Mini van I had - David got the drive shafts installed, when I didn't know how. When I did not know how to get the distributor drive shaft out of the block when it dropped, David fixed that. When I took the gear box to the repair agent, and they failed - it was David who told me to put it on the kitchen table and try myself. And we assembled it ! God, how much I owe him ! In life's lessons, I really miss his confidence.
Of course I've tried to pay it forward but I will never forget him. David was special and I loved him even when I was a cowardly guy growing up. David put the spine into me when I needed it. I celebrated his marriage to Sheree with a heart swollen with admiration. I feel humbled to be talking about it. This was the David I knew and loved and will always remember,
