I am so sorry I wasn't able to say goodbye to you Jan on Friday but you were so in my thoughts. I am glad we had the ladies weekend in Puponga last year and the lovely time together. You were a great entertainer and your potluck teas and BBQ's at Tapapwera were the best. Our thoughts are with your girls and their families at this time as well as your good friend Babara. Very fondest memories Bim Rogers and Whanau

Matron Jan.
I was first introduced to Jan many years ago when I moved over to Sealords fishing. It was a meeting that was to form a long lasting respect for Jan not only as the Sealord Matron but as a very strong individual who was more at home with the point and getting to it quicker than long drawn out explanations. As always in life you are always privillaged to meet individuals who will leave an impression, impart a lesson to you or perhaps guide you to make a decison. Jan did all of that and for this I am grateful to have known Jan. Thankyou Jan rest in peace, te Aroha ki te Jan's whanau kia kaha kia kaha
