Dick was one of my first sports heroes when I was a young boy. We could use many more like him in athletics today.

Great individual. Was a classmate of JWA Buyers and on the Board of Directors for C. Brewer & Company in Hawaii. Well thought of throughout the organization and had integrity.

I was about 11 years old and lived in a small textile town in upper South Carolina near Clemson but I could not wait to hear or read about Dick Kazmaier's feats on the gridiron.Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Furman T.Stansell

I was a scrappy little running back in a Catholic school, but I was fascinated by the exploits of Dick Kazmaier who seemed to be able to everything. May God take him to his his waiting team mates. He gave us kids a great model.
