One of the kindest, humblest men I ever had the opportunity to work with. RIP John. You broke the mold!

My deepest sympathy for the loss of John. May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time and may you find comfort in relying on God and family for support.

John, my brother, rest in peace. You have earned it.

The Tuskegee Airmen were a special group of people. How do you deal with race issues and still try and protect your life. They all did just that successful. May the family find the comfort and support they need from our Heavenly Father. Mr. Allen sleep in peace until as Jesus said "All in the memorial tomb will come out.

With deepest sympathy to the Allen family during your time of grief...God is for you a "refuge and strength," A help that is there to be found during difficult times...May God provide you with "peace and comfort" to endure the days ahead...(Psalm 62:8).

To the Family of Mr. John Edward Allen: The members of Olivet Free Will Baptist Church and I would like to extend belated condolences to you for your loss. We are thankful for the courageous service rendered to this country by this brave Tuskegee Airman. May Mr. Allen rest in peace; and may the strength, comfort and sweet peace of God be with you always.

His legacy of service to God and Country as a man, a mason and a Tuskegee Airmen will continue to inspire others to exceed against, seemly insurmountable odds, well into the future. We will...
