Charlie lived a fuller life than many without the challenges he was asked to face on a daily basis. He took pride in his family and connections (and the Kentucky Colonels :)) to Kentucky and yet had a great outreach with international friendships. A strong, Godly presence that has given all who knew him a precedent to follow whether in the body or, now, away from the body and a legacy of love that will carry on to others through those of us blessed by our every association with him.

April 30, 2013
It was a great pleasure to play with Charlie in high school and a real pain to play against him at university. He went through things I can only imagine but was always joyful and entertaining when the family visited with him in Westerville. He was one of the great ones and will always be very special to both Vicky and me.
April 29, 2013
We only knew Charlie through the books and movies that we brought him from the library. I wish we could have known him on a more personal level. It sounds like he was quite a remarkable man. Still, we enjoyed our talks with him and will really miss our visits. Our condolences go out to his family.

I am sorry to hear of Charlie's passing, but overjoyed with the fact he is at Home with our Savior. I worked in Dodd Hall. Charlie changed my life. He gave me the inspiration to play music professionally. Charlie opened my life to some great music. Will always remember our trips to Dayton to go to the Canal Street Tavern..great music - great times. Will remember the countless hours of just talking and sharing. Will miss you, will always love you, and looking forward to reuniting on the other side. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Snow family,
I am sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to see Charlie play at one of the first NHS basketball games I ever attended. He was certainly a force to be reckoned with on the court. God bless you during this sad time.

Charlie and I shared many classes at NHS. Such a handsome young man, you couldn't but notice him. But what really made Charlie attractive was his sweet gentle nature. I rejoice in his faith and in knowing that he is in the arms of our Lord. My prayer is that the Snow family find comfort in knowing and loving the Lord and in happy memories of Charlie.

Not sure what to say! Charles Snow lived a full life on his own terms and I admired him for that. He was devoted to his prison ministry and his fellow Xenos members. As one of his nurses, I saw him in good times and in bad and on each he rose to the occasion. Goodbye, Charlie.

April 24, 2013
Charlie and I attended UC together. I noticed him because he juggled a football with his feet a the same time he was running the length of a practice field. It was right after the beginning of our first term at UC still summer during a time when all the freshman have the same bond by being thrown together.

Later our freshman year, either he challenged me or I did to him a game of basketball "horse". I guess I was in the zone because I beat him. I was smart enough to never allow a rematch.

Next time I see you Charlie, I guess we'll have that rematch. Or not.

My sincerest condolences to Charlie's family. I was fortunate enough to never have the task of playing sports against Charlie, but was privileged, honored and lucky to play on the same team with him the summer before we ventured off to college. He was one of the better athletes I ever was around, and was even a better person. I am certain that he is shooting hoops with the Ultimate Referee along with other Newark HS greats (my father Howard included)!
