Joanne and Family,
I recently learned of Larry's passing and want to offer my condolences. I'm sorry that I didn't know sooner because I would have liked to have attended his service. I remember our school years; Larry was always a nice guy and always very funny. I remember him hanging around with John Fortino, David Walker and Louis Monticolo, and getting into mischief. I also remember when you and Larry got married...that was a big deal back then and I was happy for you because I liked you both. Well, to you and your family, I am so very sorry for your loss but just know that God is able to comfort us through all of our sorrow. Take care and know too that friends, family and classmates are thinking of you.

Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Thompson-Gaines

Larry's passing was a huge loss to his four children, myself, his sisters and nieces and nephews. He was a kind, hard working man with a GREAT love for Philly sports. Like George Bailey, in "It's A Wonderful Life", Larry loved his life, and his family, but Larry did not fully realize just how many lives he touched. I am so proud and joyful to have been his wife. We shared a time in history that was such a beautiful time to be young and in love and raise four wonderful children. Things were not always perfect, but then no one and nothing in this life is perfect. I would not trade those precious precious times for anything!! Larry and I talked of all the great times and life that we shared very often, and he felt the same as I did. We shared a most "Wonderful Life"!! If any of our family or friends from the past or present read Larry's obituary and this guest book, PLEASE add a message to this guest book. I have paid for this obituary and guest book to be opened until 2/24/2016, in the hope that all of our families and friends, past and present will read and write in our guest book. This book is not only important for me and my family now, but also for the future of our children and grandchildren's memories. I would love hear from some of you, like Steve Neptune. Steve, just know that it was so amazing hearing from you and we would love to see you and or hear from you to talk about old times. Larry's would be amazed and overwhelmed to say the least!! I want to keep Larry's love and memories alive for all of us!

Joann and Family, It is a great sadness. I have known Larry since we were not just kids but little kids. He was always a friend to me. You can know people growing up and that is all there is to it. But Larry, from the time we were little, always treated me as someone special. He always had a smile for me. He had a way of reflecting my better self to me. I think it wasn't just me though. I think Larry always had a smile for everyone and was genuinely interested in people. I know he has allot of people in Penns Grove who genuinely care for him. He was a true friend and a good man. He will be missed...

Larry from the time we first met you we fell in love with your heart and Joann's. Frank and I still cherish the time we all lived together in the old farmhouse. We were all so close. Those were days of purity, innocence, youth and magic. You never lost any of it and you will forever be all those beautiful things to Frank and I. Our love for you and Joann and the kids will always remain. God bless you all. Bobbye and Frank Farino, Miami, Florida
