My father, Howard Schleimer, is so sad to hear of the death his longtime friend since childhood (and his Best Man at his wedding!). He was truly admired by my Dad and by us, as well. We heard plenty of great stories when they got together. Our sincere sympathy and prayers.

All the Cleggs loved Fr. Kinkopf. He was at St. Joan's as the seven of us were growing up. We looked forward to his homilies...the way he came down to the center aisle, sometimes even walking to the 6 or 7th pew, his "screwing in a lightbulb" hand gesture, his dramatic whipping off of his glasses while loudly making an important point and the silence he allowed for his thoughtful message, many times through a question, to sink in. And of course, his "second homily" after Communion. He celebrated my parents' 25th Wedding Anniversary at our home in 1984 and married my husband and I in 1990 at John Carroll's St. Francis Chapel. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. He was one of a kind. Thank you Fr. Kinkopf for the full life you shared with so many. Shake down the thunder....

Father Jack God Bless you. You were a wonderful man and friend. I remember your days at SJM. We will miss your smiling face and beautiful personality. Frank and Mary Beth Germano. Timberlake,O
