Gregory L. Novak, 66, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at his residence.
Born Sept. 28, 1947, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County, living in Eastlake before moving to Mentor.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran.
He was the beloved husband of Kathleen B. (nee Mogar) Novak; loving father of Jamie Mogar, Melissa (Alex) Vazquez, Heather Mogar, Alicia Dobre, Jason (Melissa) Novak and Melissa Novak; cherished grandfather of Alex Jr., Angel and Melina Vazquez and John and Gabby Novak; and a cousin and friend of many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Josephine (nee Lazano) Novak.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, where prayer services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Graveside services and burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.

So sorry about the news of Greg didnt know Lost touch of him we were kids he was my favorite cousin and his dad was my favorite uncle my fathers brother I will pay my respects when I visit my father at Rittman and I will look for Greg Sad we never got in touch with each other
