It was such a privilege to be on the MHS volley ball team with you as my coach. I gained so much confidence. I remember my very first practice. I was new to the school and almost left the gym, but before I could escape you called for me to come back to practice. What a difference that one moment made for my next 3 high school years. Thank you and may you rest in peace.
Chris was my dear friend in a time of need and later. WE played Basketball and Softball together for many years. What an outstanding athlete!! We both attended the OSU retro Varsity "O" letters awards in 2006. Chris Was always a LADY. God Bless Chris and her family.
Chris was my very dear friend. She was an outstanding athlete.. We played Basketball and Softball together for many years. Both were at the OSU retro Varsity "O" letters awards in 2006. Chris was always a "lady". I am so sorry to hear of her passing. God Bless her.
My condolences to the family and close friends of Chris. Please celebrate her greatness ~ I had the pleasure of many great yrs. having Chris as my team mate playing some excellent softball together. She made an unassisted TRIPLE PLAY in the nationals! Phenomenal athletic talent, with the a nickname "cool-rays" because the sunglasses as well as calm, cool attitude on and off the field.
Chris and I retired from Madison Schools in 2003 while at HNK. She taught many skills in Phys. Ed., but more importantly, stressed the importance of fairness, compassion, and the development of children to do the right thing......wonderful qualities to instill in them from one who practiced them herself. You will be fondly remembered.......
Chris will always be remembered for her kindness and dedication to children. Her gym classes were the best. I respected her work ethic and willingness to make her classes good for all. Sincerely Kathy

What a shock. I am so sorry for you, Jane and Andrea and her many friends and students. I have these fond memories of sitting in your kitchen and listening to the incessant laughter from your Mom and Dad and Chris was usually the instigator. Chris and I had a great visit at the 40th reunion in 2008 and how I wished I could have been at the latest one last year. She will be in my prayers.
All through high school Chris and I were teammates and great competitors, too. It was such a blessing to see her last September at our 45th class reunion. I will remember her forever.
May God bless Chris and her family. So sorry to hear of your loss, Jane and Andrea.
So sorry to hear this. I am so thankful that I had the privilege of reconnecting with Chris at an MMHS class of 68 reunion in Sept. 2013. I found out that she lived in a house just 2 doors down from where I grew up! We had a nice long chat and I am thankful God blessed me with that visit. She was awesome!
