We just had our 6 month checkup in Akron and found out our buddy Kelly had passed. Our hearts sank and tears flowed. For the last 8 years she taught me what to expect on my husband's heart condition. We were so proud when she completed her CNP goal. We lost an angel, but heaven did take the BEST. We will always remember her warm inviting smile and hugs.

Kelly was such a wonderful and kind person as well as an excellent nurse who gave 110% to the patients she cared for. I really enjoyed working with her in the CTICU at CCF because she was always so helpful and supportive of all her fellow nurses. Prayers for Kellys family.

We are so very sad to hear about Kelly's passing. She was such a caring, wonderful nurse who became a friend to our family. While we only saw her on doctor or hospital visits, she always greeted us with a warm smile, a hug and a genuine interest in how we were doing. She provided wonderful care to my husband when he was very ill in the Cleveland Clinic. We will always remember Kelly and feel very blessed to have known her for the short time we did. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. We will always think of and remember Kelly with a smile...

I wish there were words to help the family and friends through this loss, there just aren't. Kelly was one of the most genuine and loyal friend I have ever met. I am so very grateful that I have had her as one of my greatest friends!! Mike, you are a wonderful husband and she expressed that all of the time! Mom, dad, Kim and Katie, she would always talk about how she appreciated all of your support. She loved you all so much! Be gentle with yourselves through this enormous loss!!
