Mildred was a godly woman of grace, strength, courage, love for God and His poor and needy, and passion for righteousness and justice.
Perhaps in heaven God allows his saints to see a new perspective of earth. If so, dear Mildred will see many Filipinos wearing those glasses she provided for us and still treasuring those hand knit cases with beautiful buttons. And many will be reading a Bible because now they can see.
How far the hands of Jesus have reached because Mildred walked this earth and let our Lord use her hands to touch His creation. Indeed, the Global Kingdom was changed because Mildred lived and showed her faith in action.
Age couldn't stop her. She remains an inspiration to us.

My deepest sympathies to the Keeney family. Miss Mildred was a lovely lady with a warm smile. Every Friday during the summer meant supper from the Triple D; the best food and ice cream anywhere! Living on Leroy Center, I often road my bike down to Five Points to pick up the food. My brother, Ric, especially loved the fried mushrooms! So many wonderful Leroy memories! You are in my prayers.
