I grew up a few houses down the street from Rich in Willowick. I was surprised to read on-line that Rich had passed away. My condolences to his family.

Richard and I were band mates, both marching and symphonic, at
Eastlake North. We graduated together in 1970. Rich and I had many conversations and I enjoyed his company very much. I new he had a bright future ahead of him and by reading the 2012 obit he had very successful life. He was voted by the class of Eastlake North as "most likely to succeed". I had always had hoped I would have another conversation with Rich but did not get the opportunity. Peach be with Rich and his family. He was one of the good ones.

I remember Richard from early school days. He always held a high level of integrity, compassion and and all-around nice guy. His "birth"day in heaven leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew him, I'm sure. My prayers are with his family. May God Almighty hold you all extra tight in his hand during these days.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Barclay family at this time. I remember Rich well from high school and am saddened by the news of his passing. My condolences.
