Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

My brothers and a few friends spent part of today reminiscing about Ron's incredible musicianship. The first time we saw Ron play was in 1967 in Cathedral Latin's gym. As we were walking in, and before we could see the band, we could hear "Sock It To Me Baby" by Mitch Ryder/Detroit Wheels. We were floored when we entered the gym and saw it was the band playing and not the juke box. You name the song.....Secret Love, Funky Broadway, Knock on Wood, 99 1/2; Ron had the drum licks down 100%. His double stroke fills were beautiful to watch. So fluid. We know that Ron was more than a great drummer.....but oh what a drummer he was! Thanks for all the memories at The Lantern Ron. Rest in Peace Gentle Man.
