Gene was such a delight to be around. I loved how he made you laugh with his great stories....and oh how he loved his country music.

Gene was such a kind and loving person. We will dearly miss his smile and all his wonderful stories. We always looked forward to he, Sheila & Morgan coming up to their second home in Blairsville, GA, & especially miss our cocktail hours with them both.

A true family man, Gene was one of the nicest people one could ever know. Whether it was driving a golf ball in hilly Blairsville or putting undulating Ormond Beach greens, Gene relished life and a good challenge. This allowed him to nimbly outdive many younger than he and catch more lobster too! With his ready smile and kind heart, Gene will be greatly missed.
