I knew Denise back in 1974-1975 when I lived in Corning & worked for the Steuben Division of the Corning Glass Works. I remember her love of teaching & her devotion to her family. I tried to win her heart way back then, but it was already taken. Don't really know why I tried to look her up today. My best to all her family. I'm sorry to know that she is no longer with you. Closure can be sad, it is for me at the moment.
I will always miss mrs. Staheli when she lived in brockport, ny across a street from my family.
denise was one strong woman. growing up across the street from her and seeing her handle all her brothers and sisters daily and then later having to deal with breast cancer and continue on life's journey...she had strength from some inner power. i only hope as a breast cancer survivor too, i will be as strong and as fortunate to have the friends and support shown at her service. both the beyler and staheli families are in my prayers and thoughts.

I am adding my own condolences to our Haverling classmate, Walt, and rest of his family and all the Beylers for the loss of their "big sister." So sorry for your great loss!
Denise, my family will miss you terribly, you were an amazing teacher and a awesome person you helped my daughter so much over the last 4years, not only did you love your kids but you loved your job you were always here even if you did not feel good. May you Rip my beautiful Angel..
Many memories of my former classmate of Haverling in Bath NY, cheerleader she was with a huge smile and lead the pack on many sporting events. singing in chorus and sitting together in our roll call homerooms in the am..the ABCs, Beyler, Brace, Bonicave, Bottoni, Buckley,Beekman and so on..We were all so happy for Walter and her upon ther marriage and heartfilled sympathy and prayers go out to him, their sons, the entire Beyler family. she will be missed but she touched many lives in her journey.
Sending my sympathy to all in the family, Walter and sons and the Beylers. Denise was always full of energy and a smile that was always shining down the hallways of Haverling, cheerleading the Rams on sports events and headed a family of so many brothers and sisters. When we attended school she was part of the homeroom call log..I always think of us sitting in our morning desks and Beyler, Buckley, Burns, Beekman,Bonicave, etc...years ago but fond memories. May your family hold your memories dear to your hearts.
So sorry to learn about Denise...she was a great person and remember her fondly as a cheerleader at basketball games
Denise was our pal in High School, and she took over for me as fifth grade teacher when I left Bath to teach in Binghamton. Always full of energy. I will remember her fondly.
I fondly remember Denise from our high school days as cheerleaders and members of the chorus. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, and hope that all of her loved ones find peace and comfort in happy memories.
My sympathy to Denise's family and friends during this time of sorrow. May the "God of all Comfort" bring peace to your hearts through His Word at Psalms 9:9,10
Sincerely, C. Rutledge
Will truly miss seeing Mrs Staheli around Deltona Middle School. Our son had her as his 6th grade Science teacher, his Academic Coach, and Mentor. She took such a personal interest in him, even beyond 6th grade, and was always so encouraging to him and to us. We will be forever grateful to her. May her family and friends find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched.
I'll miss her good attitude and her energy!
Denise, you were truly a wonderful friend, co-worker, wife, mother, teacher, & woman and will be missed terribly here at Deltona Middle School. Rest in peace my dear friend & co-worker! Love & miss you!
