I can honestly say that from the very first day I met Dennis when he brought his boat to stay at the marina for a while that he was one of the nicest people that I ever dealt with. He was always smiling and fun to talk to. What a nice guy! He will be missed very much. We always had a joke about the time that he got fuel for the boat and forgot his wallet. Each time after that when he asked if he could come in for fuel, I asked him if he brought any money. Even during his illness he stopped by the marina for a tide table, I always asked his progress with the cancer and I felt for sure he was going to beat it. What a shock when I heard he was in hospice. I can not imagine how you the family feel with his loss because even with me it feels like an ache knowing that I will never see him again. However I can say that my memories of Dennis are all good so I will try to think of him that way from now on.
Dennis was a wonderful and caring brother and a son that our parents, Antoinette & Ralph Cross, were always proud of. "...for it is in dying that we are borne to Eternal Life" PAX & RIP
