Thanks for keeping me close to Jack. I wish we could talk just one more time.
In remembrance for what would have been Dad's 70th birthday. Thankful for my memories everyday.
Jack will always be a cherished member of Forrest High School Class of 1963. He was a very special friend and I will always cherish our memories during the reunions. We will keep his family in our prayers.
I am shocked to hear the news of Jack's passing. I will miss his quick wit and impish smile. He seemed to live life to its very fullest.
He will be greatly missed. Glad I got to spend some time with him at our high school reunion last year
Jack was my best friend growing up in the 50's. We started school in the first grade and graduated from high school together. He was a fine musician, basketball player and stunt driver. Above all else, he was our fearless leader and confidant. I am greatly blessed to have shared this time on earth with Jack Abstein
Jack grew up one block from me. We went through all grades together. I last saw him at our 50th class reunion, we sat together and relived many memories of our childhood. He called and spoke with me often... I will always remember him with fondness. I wish his family much love during this difficult time. I will miss him dearly, he will always be in my heart as a dear friend. God has a special Angel now. Will miss you dear Jack...you were special.
I work at Post 31 in South Miami and met Jack there. He was a great guy very funny and could always made me laugh. He'd come in late in the afternoons when there were not a lot of people in the post and we'd get into some pretty intense conversations. I really missed him after he left and always looked forward to him coming back for a visit which were always to short. I am so sorry for the family and their loss. He really will be missed by all who knew him and my prayers and condolences go out to all of you.
Condolences to the Abstein family.
We knew Jack at DBJC back in the early 60's. He was a quick wit and a good guy.
Godspeed old friend.
Jack and I worked together on the Florida State student newspaper back in the early 1970's. He was a grand fellow and will be missed by many.
