Precious memories to the HUTTO family from USLA/SALA friends
Tom Gill President – SALA
One of my personal memories of Mickey was the first meeting after I was elected President of the region. We were discussing an issue and I was in an indecisive mode as to what decision to make. Mickey looked straight at me and essentially told me to man up and make a decision because my job was to lead. I think I probably still consider decisions a little too long but always try and lead knowing that is Mickey's expectation of me.
Ralph Wagner, Vice President – SALA
I have particularly enjoyed working closely with Mickey in his role as Treasurer and mine as Vice President of the SALA over the past several years. His contributions have gone as long way in strengthening the SALA's financial position. I perceived Mickey to be very level headed, insightful and not afraid to voice his opinion. He has always conducted himself in a gentlemanly manner and with an open mind. I consider it a privilege to have known and worked with Mickey all these years.
Michael Bradley, Treasurer – SALA
In recent years, Mickey has been a tremendous help to me as I've succeeded Mickey in serving as the South Atlantic Lifesaving Association Treasurer. Mickey has helped educate me in my position and guide me in my decision making to best serve the South Atlantic. For that I am grateful. I will always work to serve in as treasurer in a capacity reflective of Mickey and all the hard work and support he has provided the SALA over the many years he served.
Nikki Bowie, Safety Program Manager
I have known Mickey for almost 20 years through USLA. He has always been there for me and the South Atlantic Region. He has always looked out for me. My 9 year old son is named Morgan a fact Mickey is proud of. He has been a father figure to many of us and we would do anything for him.
Adrienne Groh, USLA
I have looked to Mickey for advice about almost anything and he never let me down.

It's hard to think about not seeing Mickey down at his garden. Mick always had the best perspective. His service today was beautiful. Morgan and Amanda, your mom's eulogy today was beautiful. An amazing testament to how much he loved you two. Your Dad taught me some invaluable lessons I will never forget, and I will always be thankful them.
Our deepest condolences to your Family for your loss, we will keep you in our prayers!

So sad to hear of Mickey's passing, but rejoicing in the knowledge that he is now made whole and well by his Father in Heaven! Love and prayers for peace to you all, his Earthly family...
I always remember running into Mickey at the old Gym at Ga Tech where he wrestled and I was looking for the bathroom. I also mentioned that he looked very cute in his skimpy wrestling uniform. The bathroom directions he gave me led to an Olympic swimming pool on the floor below. He got me. Rest in piece Mickey.
MICK, I'M GLAD THAT THE PAIN AND SUFFERING YOU WERE GOING THRU IS FINALLY OVER. YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL OF US BUT I'M SURE YOU'RE IN A BETTER PLACE NOW. WE'LL CATCH UP WITH YOU BEFORE TOO LONG. THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TO ALL OF THE FAMILY. GOD BLESS, GARY MADOLE
