Dear Thjerese and Family,
On behalf of the Austin Family please accept our sincerest sympathy for your loss. Wally had a large presence and will be missed by all who loved him. Our family memories are burnished on all of our hearts. The memories of our halcyon days on The Cape will never fade. God bless and keep you all in His comfort and care at this difficult time. With love and deepest condolences.--Michael Austin, Manhattan, New York.

Hi, I'm Margie Ellens friend. I am so sorry for your loss he was loved by so many and he will be missed. His humor I still talk about his saying Marguerite go wash your feet lol It makes me smile and he did that when I was down due to my seizures. You both were like another family and I think of you often.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers and love you all.

Uncle Wally's soundtrack was laughter. He brought joy and love to any conversation, any venue, any moment. "How's your liver?" he'd ask. When he was at Grandmother's wake he asked, "Can I call Sister Mary Jean 'Aggie?'" And then when she approached he stood up straight and said, "Hello, Sister Mary Jean!" as only a good Catholic school boy can do - with a twinkle in his eye and that sly grin. He will be missed but will think of him when I get my liver checked out and giggle at something completely inappropriate. Love to all and prayers - as heaven welcomes a wonderful and deeply adored man.

Uncle Wally, You bought joy to this world wherever you were. I have so many wonderful memories that revolve around you. Heaven is a better place now that you are there. Godspeed my sweet Godfather, you will be greatly missed.
