"Growing up with Mommy"

When I was a little girl, life was so simple....especially having a mother like ours. We may have dressed up, in the most funniest clothes back then, but there was a whole lot of loving going on..... Laughing at the dinner table was an everyday event in our home. We always ate dinner right at 5:30 and if we were out playing, my Dad had the most distinct whistle that you could hear all the way down Robinhood Road or at the Cullatti's House, and boy, oh boy, my sisters, Linda and Denise had us all in stitches with their crazy stories while the rest of us sat back and enjoyed the show.

My Mom and Dad were wonderful parents, each year our summer vacations would be in New Smyrna Beach Florida, where we stayed with our grandparents (Mooka) Moeke and Pop. Once again, the most memorable times shared together as a family. Mommy was amazing....my husband Steve, wrote in her guest book, " Grandma raised 4 beautiful daughters and did it without ever having driven a car, how did she get those kids around?" You know.... I never thought about it.... That was amazing !!!!!!!!

As I grew into a young lady and a mother myself, I realized I had the BEST role model that any daughter could ask for. Mommy, was the sweetest, kindest, caring and most loving human being that anyone could of had the privilege of knowing. My family and I truly feel blessed to have had Mommy live with us.... Once again lots of laughs and a whole lot family time....She loved our two dogs Jack and Poopie, and our cats Jaida and Chloe and if you came to visit us 4 years ago, Poopie, the dachshund, use to be 15 pounds slim and trim.... NOW...she is 35 pounds and dragging her belly...Mommy loved to feed them and boy, oh boy they loved her...... and as for Jack...... well.....he just got a whole lot of hugs around the neck and several kisses each day...... our family couldn't have been more blessed to grow up with this special little angel.....Mommy, please give Daddy the biggest hugs and kisses... I'll love you forever and always.....

You were the Foundation of this family, and always will be. Grandma, you meant the absolute world to me. Loosing you was the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. The life lessons you have passed on to me has helped make me who I am today. You were the one who I believe we have all learned the most from. The woman of extreme courage, warmth, compassion, class, and most of all love. You have instilled in all of us what true family is all about. I will miss you every second of every day, but I know you are in the only Perfect Place that there is. Every time I walked into a room your unconditional love and beautiful warm smile would make me feel so loved. I couldn't have been more lucky to grow up with such a amazing Grandma. I will forever hold you deep in my heart, and I know our memories will last forever. I saved a spot for you in the front row for my wedding, I know in my heart you will be there.
I love you so much Grandma..more than words could ever describe!!!
Xoxoxo!! Until we meet again...

We miss her so much already. I am happy she is finally with her husband once again. She had a beautiful soul, and lit up the room every time she was there. She always greeted us with the most heartfelt greeting when we visited. She would always tell me how beautiful I was but I don't think she ever truly realized she was always the most beautiful person in the room, inside and out. She was all anyone could ask for in a grandmother and great grandmother for my kids. We miss her greatly already. Until we meet again, I know God and her husband will watch over her. Thank you "Gigi" for being our guardian angel.
