When I was in College I worked at Centerre Bank and Mr. Cantrell was an officer there at the time. This was probably 1986 or 1987. He went to Ireland and brought gifts back for all of us employees. I remember I got an Irish Linen handkerchief. I thought that was so thoughtful. So sorry for your family's loss.

Robin, we are so grateful to have met your precious Dad when we lived across the street from you. We miss you, Brooks, Sam, and Will very much in New Orleans. We hope to connect with you soon. Many great memories. Our prayers are with you and your family always.
Love,

Robin, I am so glad I got the honor of meeting your Dad a few years ago. What a life of contribution he had. I know how much he appreciated your support and care. My thoughts are with you.

We've known Bill for many years. He was a fine man and an uncommon citizen. Robin, do you remember when you baby-sat for us? Our condolences to the family; you can be comforted by the cherished memories of your father.

Robin: When I arrived in Springfield in the summer of 1966 to be the I&I of the Marine Corps Reserve unit, one of the first to welcome me was your dad. He sold me the first pair of Johnson-Murphy shoes that I ever owned. I was glad to see him in 2011 when I visited Springfield on my way to a basic class reunion in Arkansas. He was a wonderful person whom I shall always remember. Please accept my sincere, heartfelt condolences. David Rilling, LtCol USMC (Ret)
