in the RCB for many years

Jake was a "friend" of the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Band and always performed with us at the Natiional Cemetery; and when it was time for "Taps", Jake was the man. He played Taps from the heart! He will live on in memories...

David and I are so sorry to hear of this. His presence in the band was special. Our condolences to his family.

As a little girl, I remember watching Chuck perform - he used to lip synch to albums of Spike Jones and I always laughed. Sometimes I was given the job of waking him up in the morning and he was such a grump! He was a heavy sleeper so I would take a yardstick and poke him until he woke. That way, if he was mad about being waked I was far enough away that he couldn't hit me.

When he went in the Navy, it was wartime (Vietnam) and he sent little gifts from different ports of call. I remember an Asian fan that I thought was so beautiful - I'd never seen one before.

I know that my brother was spiritual, so I look forward to sharing the joy of heaven with him. - Keri

As my big brother, you were a childhood hero of mine. You were faithful to write to me as you served your country. I love you and will miss you until we meet again. sis
