Frances Juanita Tiller, age 86, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Mercy Hospital. She was born January 9, 1928, in Fordland, MO to George and Lora (Cooper) Eslinger. She was an avid flower gardner, who loved taking care of her cats, spending time ouside in her yard, and visiting with her family.
The last of ten children she was preceded in death by her siblings, husband Tommy Lee Tiller and her daughter Kathleen Bennett. She is survived by daughters: Nancy Underlin, Janice Willis, and Linda Friend her grandchildren: Cynthia Bennett, Chris Ellington, and husband Kyle, Rhiannon Czigan, and husband Micah, and Michael Underlin, her great-grandchildren: Andrew Ellington, Carter Ellington, and Olivia Czigan.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO with Sister Diane Frederick officiating. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. To Nancy, Janice and Linda, So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Did not know until Tuesday April 2nd. So sorry we were unable to attend the funeral. Your Mother was a very special person to us as your whole family has been. We loved Tommy and Kathy and miss them often. Our sincere condolences to all of you. We love and miss you guys. My sympathy to the family. I was Married to Bob Taylor, Tommy's nephew, who passed away in December 11, 2012. We had visited Tommy and Frances a few times over the years.
