I remember meeting Dave for coffee before my classes. He was one of the most level-headed people I've known. It would be a more peaceful world with more like Dave; he will be missed. Anita, I'm so sorry.
I worked with David for about 4 years, from the time I began working at the Financial Aid switchboard in January 2002. I'll always remember him as pleasant and willing to help in any way. David was like a walking encyclopedia on many topics, including trivia. I recall a time when a coworker and I were trying to remember the original artist of a particular song. Someone said, "Ask David," so the next time we saw him, we did. As expected, he immediately had the answer.
I offer my condolences and prayers for his family at this sad time. He will be greatly missed by many.
I worked with David from the time I began working at the Financial Aid switchboard at Missouri State in January 2002. Always pleasant and even-tempered, David was like a walking encyclopedia, who knew a lot about many things, including items of trivia. One day a coworker and I were trying to remember the original artist of a certain song, and someone said, "Ask David." The next time we saw him, we asked him, and he immediately gave us the answer. David will be greatly missed by many people. I offer my condolences and prayers for his family at this sad time.
David was a classmate at Greenwood and I would see him over the years on campus at Missouri State. He always had a great sense of humor and even disposition. I know he quietly helped thousands of students obtain financial aid and further their higher education goals during his career. He will be missed. Art Haseltine Springfield, Missouri

David was always so pleasant to work with. He will be missed.
I have worked with David over 25 years. He was the best supervisor and co-worker. I never saw him lose his temper with a student or co-worker. He always went the extra mile for students because he cared. He will be greatly missed. My sympathies to the King family. Keeping you in my prayers. God Bless
David and I were work collegues and friends for over 25 years; I always appreciated his knowledge and his willingness to share it. He was a true advocate for students; his passing is a great sadness and I will miss him.

It is a shock to hear of his passing. My condolences to Anita and his family. I always will remember David fondly. Gary Grover
