We have lost a wonderful friend and brother-in-law. He was an example to his students, children, grandchildren and to all who knew him. He left a great legacy. We will miss him very much.

What a fine man he was, and a wise and caring teacher, too! I was in the class of '73. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Sorry to hear of Roy's passing. I went thru school with him in Kansas. He was always a friendly guy. Got together with him and his family years ago when we were in Branson.

Although I didn't have Mr. Gertson as teacher, I do remember him as a great person with a smile always.
