Sad to see iconic rock and rock personalities leaving us. The Dave Clark Five music was very upbeat and fun to listen to and drove a beat into my brain. Great stuff.
oh my gosh !!! I'm 67yrs old and I soooo loved the Dave Clark Five Group, in fact I have "always" said you guys and your music was sooo much BETTER than the beatles.. RIP and know you and your group gave alot of people enjoyment with your music...
May the Father of tender mercies comfort you all at this time of deep sorrow.
The DC5 was my favorite group as a teen. I will forever remember listening to their music on the radio and singing along with them. My sincere condolences to Mr. Huxley's family and friends.
My very first 45rpm that began what became a large music collection was "Glad all Over" by the Dave Clark Five. Rest in peace Rick.sing now with the angels.
I was 14 years old when the Dave Clark Five appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and was immediately drawn to their enthusiatic music and happy demeanor.
My sympathy to Rick's family and colleagues. Rick, your battle is over and you have earned your Heavenly peace. God bless.
