I just found out about Jim's passing and I am so sad! I was hoping to marry him someday! Lol. Who wouldn't want to be with such a sweet, loving, generous, perfect man as him! I feel lucky to have known him and Celia. Together again you two.

I was lucky enough to have a chance meeting with Mr. Findlay at Panera bread a couple years ago during an ice storm. we were the only two people there. he put his hand on my shoulder and said "what are you doing out in this young lady?" we struck up a conversation and i truly felt that i met him for a reason, unsure of what that was. he spoke so fondly of his wife and since it was close to xmas, i returned a short time later with a small poinsettia for him. he was on a business call, so i tried to put the flower down and leave and he grabbed my hand and held it till he was done with his call. i told him that i didn't think his wife would want him to be without poinsettias at xmas. it made him smile which was enough thanks for me but he reached into his planner and gave me a giftcard to bravo and said to take my family to dinner on him. today i was looking for his address to drop off a poinsettia and sadly i found that he had passed and i wept. i only wish i had connected with him again if only to get his advice on entrepreneurship as i have that spirit in me and was always planning to ask for his advice on the process and how to ensure success. he sent me his book and signed it, mentioning my poinsettia gift and how nice it was. i admired him for how he wrote so lovingly about his wife and just thought, that is every woman's dream. now and forever i will always think of him when i look at poinsettias and i will get one every year in his honor. ironically i still have the one from last year and was thinking it was still alive because it was waiting to be given to him. i will make sure he gets it. god bless you jim and thank you for touching my life on that cold, icy day.
