I would like to send my condolences to the family of Molly Krival; I just read of her passing in the Whitewater Magazine. I am so sorry for your loss, yet so thankful for her presence on this planet and, even more, in my life. Dr. Krival was one of the finest teachers that I ever had. . .she was, in a word, amazing, and because of her, I became a better learner. I am so very grateful. May she rest in peace, and may her family always keep a place for her in their hearts.

Molly was the chair of the CHNEP citizens support organization when I joined the group. She ran the most focused and productive meetings I have ever experienced. She had a leaders touch and knew when to stop a conversation or let it continue, I try to emulate her in my political and volunteer life.
I saw my first bald eagle with Molly at Ding Darling and she lent me her binoculars to have a better view. As I took them she said “Be careful, they cost more than my car.” I have always appreciated a good pair of binoculars since that time. She was and will continue to be my hero.

Molly mentored the Friends of Tualatin River NWR and in the process she became my mentor and friend. She was a great lady who brought so much energy and vision to refuge Friends group and the entire National Wildlife Refuge System. I so glad I had the chance to work with her.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. I have wonderful memories of working with Molly on developing Friends Groups for NWRs. Her passion for wildlife and her easy connection to people was the perfect combination to take the "Friends" movement to great success. She was tough too! And we needed that! Peace be with you!
