Steve Adams was my 10th grade Math teacher at CHS. Coach Adams was a special and kind hearted man who had a tremendous impact on me during the time I spent there as a student. I will always have fond memories of Mr. Adams and I extend my heartfelt prayers to his family.

The first story that comes to mind when I think about Steve Adams is the time we needed something to BBQ for an annual youth event. The family that normall provided the meat had a bad hunting year that year. Someting that had never happened to them before. My need was dire since they would hunt the week before our BBQ. I went to RHS and told Steve my story. He called a student out of class, lets call him Keith, and told him my story. Keith said he could have a hog back at the school in a couple of hours. Vice principal Adams told Keith to go get a hog. I got a call about three hours later telling me to come back to the school. Waiting for me was a nice sized hog, quartered, on ice in an igloo cooler. I asked how he had gotten it so qrickly and Steve told me, "I didn't ask for details." I can remember his laugh as we carried the cooler to my truck. I beleive Steve made it to the BBQ that night. That hog was good eatin'!

Our love to the Adams family, Steve we will see you again in just a little. while.
