I just found an old travel magazine with suzy s artikel on shopping in Florence and I rememberd reading her shopping advice long time before and wondered what happened to her ,so now I know ,how sad she passed away so young ,I always thought of her as a happy little impish woman ,always smiling and happy ,sorry she had to endure a bad sickness ,my heart goes out to the surviving family ,she surely will be missed but lovingly rememberd ,well I am sure heaven has a little imp angel sitting on...

Please accept my sincere condolences on the death of your dear love one. “And no resident will say: I am sick…” Isa 33:24. This is a promise God has made known in his word. Perhaps one day in the divine future you or I may see again those fallen from our lives due to a sickness or illness that led to an untimely death. Prayers go out to the surviving family and friends may the God of comfort continue to bless you and yours.

I loved her books!! I have an "Ancestor's" print in my living room from China (the Pearl Market) because of Suzy as well as antiques, shoes and grocery store"finds" thanks to her. She made shopping a great adventure and her suggestions were spot on! My condolences to her family. She lived my dream.

I will always remember Mike and Suzy. Mike was my husband's manager. Suzy brought me food when I was pregnant and encouraged me to become a freelance writer. I am very sorry to learn she has passed away.

Unaware of what Suzy and her family had been going through, I'd periodically check for an update to Suzy's travel blog, not knowing until today that she recently passed away. Words can't describe the pain I feel and how sorry I am. I read every single one of Suzy's books and would have loved to have personally known and traveled with her: what a fabulous woman. I was always on the lookout for her latest book. My heartfelt prayers go out to her entire family.

I just began to see what new books might be available from Suzy for an upcoming trip to England and France.I was so sorry to learn of her passing. Not only were her shopping tips spot on her hotel suggestions such as the Palais in Biaritz spectacular.
What a loss to shoppers and business owners alike.
I hope she is someplace elegant surrounded by beautiful things.
I wished I'd made of an effort to meet her.
Rest in Peace
