To the Murphy family, I have read both Seal of Honor and Lone Survivor and remain amazed by the bravery, courage, and sacrifice exemplified by LT Murphy and his men. Their actions in the face of such austere circumstances speaks volumes of themselves and the thousands of men and women who serve our great nation. Being a service member myself and having served tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, I share a common bond with Mike. His story serves as an inspiration to me. God bless your family and God bless America.

To the Murphy family,
Just finished reading Seal of Honor,Lone survivor and also saw the movie,The Murph. I loved each and everyone,plus learned somuch about Mike and you all. I don't prsonally know any of you or Mike, but I am honored to be getting to know Micheal thou everything I read and what others post about him. It is also a great privilage that my nephew is serving a a crew member on the Micheal Murphy DDG-112. Mike and you all will forever be a part of our family.

I just completed the book "Seal of Honor." What a great book and honor for him. Regretfully I cannot say I served this great country of ours, but I give thanks everyday for those that did. He made the ultimate sacrifice for me and my family. Thank You LT Miichael P. Murphy for your service, love of this country, my freedom and making the ultimate sacrifice. Forever in my prayers,
