Time goes on but memories never fade. Herman, we always think of you and your family. Every 9/11 we watch the names scroll by until we see yours. It is always a somber moment.
Ursula and family our thoughts are with you.

Dear Ursala and family,
Rose and I always have you in our thoughts throughout the year. We hope you are all well. I'd like to share a story with you. Rose and I have friends in Hoboken N.J. Over the years I have told them about Herman. Recently they visited the 9/11 Memorial. They called me from there and asked how Herman spelled his last name. When they found it my friend called me and told me where it was located. While they were talking to me the gentleman behind them asked did you know Herman? My friend said no, but my Friend Gunther did. The gentleman was from England and said he spoke to Herman often on the phone about business matters but never met him. Unfortunatly we did not get his name but he asked that we pass on his condolences.
Ursala, you Herman and family are always in our thoughts.

Herman, always remembered. A gentleman. Great company and role model to all.

Dear Ursula,
I knew Herman and his parents as a youngster living in New York until I was 8. Herman and I are the same age. When I saw his name on the list of 9-11 victims I was so sad and amazed that living in California I actually recognized one of the names of those killed. It was a haunting feeling and made me realize how small this world really is. I can remember our young family visiting Herman and his parents. My mom and Mrs. Broghammer were especially good friends. I remember receiving Christmas cards from the Broghammer family each year after we moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I do not know the words to express my sadness of your loss and the loss to Herman's whole family. Reading the information on Herman lets me know that he lived a full and happy life.

I am so sorry for your loss of Herman.

Herman, I worked at A&A with you. You were always smiling. We lived in the same town and I'll never forget the time you give me communion at Sacret Heart Church. Rest in Peace....Jim Carlina

In the brief time I got to know you and Ursula you made a strong imprint: that of a man filled to the brim with kindness, warmth, an easy smile, a quick wit, and always with love in your eyes for your wife. I think of you often and am ever thankful I had the opportunity to know you.
