We will always miss you and will never forget the special person this world has lost.

There is a restaurant on 46th Street in New York that still refers to him as "HERMAN THE GERMAN WHO LIVES ON SHERMAN". It brings a tear to my eye every time. WE worked together for over 20 years and became close friends, and so did our wives and families. Amy finally stopped calling me Mr. Bober recently and Ursula doesn't refer to me as the A/E any more. I miss him a lot and will always remember. Jerry

Herman worked with my husband (Jerry)and when I first met Ursula and Herman, I knew it would be an instant friendship. Herman always saw the glass half full...never half empty. He always found the positive in a situation. No one ever sat with a glass of wine or a drink that wasn't constantly full. When Herman laughed, egeryone laughed. I have very fond memories of Herman and truly miss him.

As a close friend of Herman's son, John, Herman was like an uncle to me. He was there for graduations, proms & sporting events and always had his signature smile and encouraging words. He cared deeply for his family and his community and always went out of his way for others, a trait that unfortunately may have cost him his life. Herman was a Hero in every sense of the word and is someone that is truly missed.

I met Herman only once or twice, through Ursula, with whom I worked on some committees at Sacred Heart Church. His bravery was only surpassed by his concern for others. My thoughts and prayers are with Herman and his wonderful family.

Dear Broghammer Family,

As we draw near to the 10th Anniversay of 9/11, I think of my dear friend Herman, and although it is a sad time, I want to remember his vibrant, happy and smiling face that Herman always had. You walk through life and take so many things for granted, Herman lived his life for everyone especially, his loving wife and children. Herman was a true friend who was always there & willing to help.
I was lucky enough to know Herman from childhood and grew up together. I will always treasure those memories and I still call upon him for strength.
My dear friend until we are all together again, I miss you and love you. God Bless & watchover your loving family.

Dear Broghammer Family,
I truly miss Herman. He was a very good and kind man. I remember bowling his team the week before 9/11, and as usually his team beat us.
May God Bless You.

Dear Broghammer family,
I will be remembering and honoring Herman this Friday at the 12:00 Walking Tour at the Tribute Center. I did not know Herman but learned about his beautiful spirit in reading the Legacy journal. I too worked at AON and survived the attack 92 floor/South Tower. Please know that Herman's voice, spirit, and life will be remembered.

May God Bless your family.

Dear broghammer family. Todays events 05/02/2011 only reopen the wounds. It does give us a sense that we reap what we sow. Today was a day for America to stand up for what we believe in and that no tyrant who threatens us will ever be the victor.
Herman you did not die in vain. To me you are an American hero who tried to help others to the very end.
God Bless you Herman Broghammer and your family.
