I just happened upon Lauretta's death notice in Newsday yesterday and was so shocked to read of her passing. She was one of my first bosses when I started with Citibank in 1978. And then again at the Plainview Data center. She was always there if you needed a helping hand. I'm glad we reunited on Facebook a few years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. Rest in peace, Lauretta.

You were a great friend and helped me so much out at Plainview. You went out of your way to make things work better and right while always retaining your sense of humor. I close my eyes and see you , smiling and enjoying your work. Good bye friend.

I will never forget how kind Lauretta was to me, letting me use space at the Plainview Data Center even when I was not suppose to be there, due to her kindness it lasted a few years. Fond memories of the holiday parties she would arrange in the lunch room. She was a wonderful person, my deepest condolences to the Irving family and those who were close with her.
