I can't believe my aunt is gone. She was an amazing women that never had an ounce of quit in her. She entertained us, taught us, and most of all loved us unconditionally. I am so sorry I took her for granted. I really thought she would be around as long as my grandmother was. I am so shocked and I feel like my heart has exploded. I love you Aunt Lauretta... " May the roads rise to meet you, May the winds be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

I worked with Lauretta in the Plainview data center when she ran the entire facility. Power, AC,phones everything building. But she had a challenge: how to monitor all of this equipment 24x7x52 with the resources available. Well she managed the building Security staff, and realized a resource… so she devised a system of Green or Red dots stuck next to each “light on a box,” numbered them and had the guards make the rounds checking the colors on the lights and the dots! It was great!
I enjoyed working with Lauretta for many years at the “country club data center” before being “assimilated” into Weehawken (itself later assimilated…)
There is one less smile in the world…

My regards,
Michael Blozen
