Dr. Sussman was not only my childrens doctor but my husbans doctor. What a wonderful man, he not only treated the ear infections but treated the emotions of new mothers taking on sick children beyond any medical book could teach. He was a teacher of common sense. The world is a better place because he lived. God Bless him and his family. I am sad to hear about his passing, forever in our hearts with great respect.

I was the first physician assistant and only physician assistant Dr.Sussman hired. I graduated PA school in 2000 and worked with Marvin until he retired. I am still practicing pediatrics and have thought of him frequently. He was an amazing clinician and truly cared for his patients. I am so grateful for the two short years I worked with him and the experiences he shared with me....................................... Not to long ago I was taking care of a boy with a plantars wart and his father mentioned when he was little his doctor would wear this light on his head and zap his wart with an "electric cautery" gun, I laughed to my self and said was that Dr. Sussman from N Bellmore and sure enough it was. I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing and my condolences go out to his family and his son Howard, I rember how proud he was of him.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Sussman. We were one of the earliest families to had the privilege of his tending to our medical needs. Our three daughters became his patients beginning in 1960 and their children were still patients at the time of his retirement. He even helped with our medical needs. We fondly remember his early home visits which are memories of what the medical field once included. He was gentle, but firm in a very caring way. We always said there was no better diagnostician.
We know how important hs family was to him as he always spoke so lovingly about all of you. We hope these few words will help in the difficult times. He will be greatly missed by all.

Fondly, Marilyn and Ira Holzsager and Family
