I will always remember Jerry as a good-humored, kind and sensible man, whom I first met on Bruce's boat somewhere on Great South Bay... for one of our friendly and fun group summer outings. Always some fishing, always some eating, always lively dialogue and always MANY LAUGHS ... great days and fond memories with the finest friends I know. Jerry, may you lovingly rest in peace. Love, Paula James

Jerry was an extremely devoted uncle and brother-in-law. He was teaching our teenaged daughter, Tara, to drive on Sundays, since he was a good and patient driving teacher. Even after he found out about his tumor he continued to take her out to drive with someone else in the car, of course. He remained upbeat and grateful for everyone in his life until his final days. His enduring spirit was one of the most impressive examples of humility and gratitude in a person that I have ever seen.
My entire family has been deeply touched by Jerry's kind spirit, intellect and great sense of humor.
We will miss him very much and talk about him often.
Love, Nancy, Bruce, Will and Tara Campbell

Jerry, when you flew home from a job in Miami to be with my Mom during her final days displayed true character and integrity. It was much appreciated by our family. Your kindness never went unnoticed. You will be missed.
May the Lord accept and bless you always.
