Emma Brewington Obituary

Emma Bell Oxendine Brewington, 93, of Panama City, FL passed away on Wednesday February 7, 2018.

She was born on September 22, 1924 in Red Springs, North Carolina to John Henry and Mary Oxendine. She was a school teacher for North Carolina School System for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Ross Brewington Sr.; two sons, Graydon Sherman Brewington and David Ross Brewington Jr.

She is survived by six children, Jerylane Brewington, Daucey Brewington, Matthew Brewington, Michael Brewington, Melissa Brewington Wittman and Melanie Brewington Boyd; 10 grandchildren; 3 great gran-children; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Bay County Council on Aging in memory of Emma Brewington.
