Our thoughts and sincere condolences are sent to Aunty Olwyn, Alyson, Missy, Judd and all their families. 'Uncle John' was a real life Hero. As children, my brother Ian and I we were always in awe to hear Aunt Olwyn tell us the stories of Johns' heroism in the military. His achievements throughout his life are a credit to a great man. We have all been saddened to hear of his suffering these last few years.
Rest in Peace John

I had the honor of having Lt Lynch as my platoon leader in Vietnam 1970 and then later as Company Commander.
He touched all of our lives in a positive way and was respected by all he came in contact with.
