Just wanted the family of this man to know how much of an impact he had on practically every student that ever attended Mosley High. He is probably the only person that worked there besides the principle that everyone knew who he was. Always kind, smiling and trying to keep us in line. "POPS" will be missed by many, but he impact and kindness will not be forgotten.

Uncle Jerry and Family. God has laid to rest his best. May the peace that passes all understanding keep our hearts and mind through Christ Jesus. Saints don't die, they just sleep away. One of his songs goes something like this, Chariot, let me ride. Chariot, let me ride. Chariot, let me ride. Low your chariot, let me ride.

To the Deloach Family,
I am not sure if what I sent in the way of prayer and sympathy to the E-mail site reached you or not so I repaeat the following. I met Jerry a little over 40 years ago when I was working out at Cove Contractors or the "Shipyard" or Scrapyard. He was a fine gentleman and I always did fine him as happy as any man I ever met. Seems he was just coming away from mourning a son which had been tragically killed. I attribute his always happy attiude to an experience with Christ though I was not a believer at the time. I'm praying for you all. Rev. Nick Peters, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Carencor, LA.
