Scott was an awesome coworker and fun guy! When you work with someone closely for long periods of time, years can go by and it feels just like yesterday. We all stayed in tune with what we were doing in life even though we didnt chat often. My heart is broken and will continually pray for Suzanne and family. Stay strong, lean on the Lord and know that we are thinking of you from a distance. Scott will be missed! May he rest now in God's comfort.

My family new Scott from his restaurant. We would always talk about the restaurant business every time that we were in eating which was often and my kids always expected to see him. We are so very sorry! Scott was always so kind and we always looked forward to seeing him. Keeping you in our prayers and praying for God to give you a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Harriett, Suzanne and Elizabeth, I wanted to let you know that I wish so much that I could be there for you but it just didn't work out. Stay strong for each other and remember the good times that you had together. Love and prayers, Nancy and Mama(Betty Rose)

It is with a heavy heart that we must say goodbye to such a young man. Since the time when Scott and Suzanne first moved in next door many years ago we have witnessed the birth of his daughter Elizabeth and seen first hand a man who loved his family. Time will pass and the pain will ease but the lose can never be understood except that God has summoned an Angel.
Rest in Peace Scott

Our deepest sympathy to Scott's family, and especially to his daughter. We are lifting each of you in prayer, as well as his longtime employee, Liz. Praying that you all feel the peace beyond understanding that only our Lord can provide. We met Scott soon after he opened Barberitos, and we became like fixtures there--having lunch regularly (~3 times a week)! Scott would often come by our table to talk to us. I remember vividly the last time he came and sat down at our table telling us he had cancer. It was heart-wrenching having to hear this horrific news, but we never believed he would go home this soon. We will treasure our memories of him and never forget his bright smile. I pray that between the tears, each of you will have wonderful memories that will bring a smile to your face. God bless you all.
