COAL TOWNSHIP — James R. Hollenbach, 49, of 36 N. Locust St., Mount Carmel, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital.
Born in Shenandoah, July 26, 1963, he was a son of the late Clarence and Barbara (Bixler) Hollenbach.
He was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School.
He was a member of American Legion, Mount Carmel, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mount Carmel, where he was a member of its pool team, and Clover Hose Company, Mount Carmel.
Surviving are his fiancee, Elizabeth Edwards, of Ashland, three brothers, Robert Hollenbach, of Ashland, Walter Hollenbach, of Mount Carmel, and James Wolf, of Minersville; a nephew, Jason Hollenbach, of Mount Carmel, and nieces and nephews.

HOLLENBACH — James R. Hollenbach, 49, of 36 N. Locust St., Mount Carmel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, with the Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Aristes Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made in Jim's memory to the family. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, www.kullfuneral.com, has charge of arrangements.
