What an amazing woman! When I first met her, she talked of her travels and adventures and I thought, "wow - this woman knows how to live". She was truly remarkable and will be sorely missed!

It's good to see so many have fond memories of BA. A woman who touched a lot of lives. R.I.p. aunt BA

Her window had rattled with the ball hit forcefully by one of us international students living in Madcap Lane, Fairbanks/AK, playing as we usually did, gully cricket. But not Betty, she was calm and non-chalant. That was my first meeting with Betty, and then she being good buddies with Deborah and Clint, the subsequent meetings were enlightening and quite educational, and jolly time for all. Chatting with her, one felt comfortable in expressing one's views of the world, and I was quite impressed how independently she lived her life. She will always live in my memories.

Aunt BA was my step Dads'(Earl Robinson)
sister. I have many fond memories of growing up in Altadena when she lived up the stret from us in the house in the house Ric and Margaret Nesmith bought from from my parents. She was always generous and funny, taking me skiing. I remember her being calm, relaxed and very intelligent, with a great sense of humor. One time, when my girl friend was visiting, she talked me into streaking, saying she would follow. Guess what. She didn't and everyone. That was the only time BA ever broke a promis. It is no surprise that she was loved by so many.
I will always miss her and am sorry I lost contact with her. I wanted to stay at her bed and breakfast and wish I had mad that happen. The heart's love is forever. Rest in peace dear Aunt BA. My email address is cosmicbluejay@gmail.com
