Aunt BA was my step Dads'(Earl Robinson)
sister. I have many fond memories of growing up in Altadena when she lived up the stret from us in the house in the house Ric and Margaret Nesmith bought from from my parents. She was always generous and funny, taking me skiing. I remember her being calm, relaxed and very intelligent, with a great sense of humor. One time, when my girl friend was visiting, she talked me into streaking, saying she would follow. Guess what. She didn't and everyone. That was the only time BA ever broke a promis. It is no surprise that she was loved by so many.
I will always miss her and am sorry I lost contact with her. I wanted to stay at her bed and breakfast and wish I had mad that happen. The heart's love is forever. Rest in peace dear Aunt BA. My email address is cosmicbluejay@gmail.com

My love and deepest sympathies to the family and extended family of my dear friend, Betty (B.A).

I met Betty in 1972 after my husband got out of the Marine Corps and brought our daughter and I to live in the Southern California area. He took me to meet her brother Earl and his wife Gwen, before I even met his own mom. They were his "second" parents and always remained so. It wasn't more than a few weeks before Betty met our daughter and I and it was a fast and firm friendship. We eventually bought Earl and Gwen's home when they decided to move to Washington, soBetty was our neighbor!!! We had so many fun times! I will also never forget the day when she went to the hospital for breast surgery. The doctors had already prepped her but one of them decided to take another X-Ray or whatever kind of test it was and whatever they had seen before was gone! Her mom had worked at that hospital and we just knew she and God had something to do with it.

After Betty went to work on the pipeline, ARCO (or the company she was on loan to) would pay for her to come back to our area for R & R and she came to our house most of the time! We had many good times singing and playing the piano. She also had the rousing political discussions with my ultra conservative husband but it was all good and well because they could both hold their own and remain friends.

In some of our more recent e-mails, discussing how hard it sometimes is to get older, mainly because of the losses we incur, she ended her e-mail with: "Nonetheless, the sun is shining and the robins are singing. That helps.",

I will be looking for a special little Robin, my dear friend. I'll always love you, as will Ric and Monica.

Margaret Nesmith
