She was my Aunt. I was just starting to get closer to her. She once offered me work and a place to live (her b&b )if I wanted to come to Alaska. We have lost someone special.

I had the pleasure of working with Betty as part of the breast cancer detection program through the INHC, and then becoming her friend. She was always a source of calm and gentle insight. My daughter Alyssa and I will miss her. What a beautiful Angel she has now become.

eing Betty when I visit my children in Alaska, especially my son who lived across the street from Betty and plowed her driveway clear of snow in the winter. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Betty Robinson was a good friend and an important part of our family. I appreciate that Betty was particularly close to my brother and his family for so many years and, because of their association, I was fortunate to spend time with her as well. Betty was a multi-faceted woman with a lot of worldly knowledge that made conversations with her lively and enjoyable. Betty was respectful of your right to have and express an opinion; however she didn't hesitate to share her opinions either. It was general knowledge that Betty was not particularly fond of dogs and much to her chagrin, and our amusement, dogs especially loved being near her. For so many reasons, holiday celebrations and other events will not be the same without Betty. Betty was an intelligent, independent woman who will be fondly remembered and missed by many.
