Matt Seekatz

Matt was one of my first friends when I arrived in Fairbanks 30 years ago. I miss him very much.

My thoughts and prayers to the seekatz family, matt use to be my bus driver back in the day, and always let us rock out with the bus radio... my brother and family send there deepest regards, from the dirks family we will miss you matt. save some fish for us, and we will enjoy the scenery together soon.

Karen, along with the rest of Matt's old friends I'm shocked & saddened to hear about his passing. We think we'll live forever and unfortunately don't take the time appreciate the moment. His friends will remember his great smile, attitude & love of the outdoors. I'll forever remember the time my son & I came over to your house in North Pole for Thanksgiving dinner; Matt was deep frying a Turkey on the deck & keeping the drinks full, a truly good time. Alaska has lost a true Mountain Man, condolences to Matt's family.
