Ginny grew up with the Milton B Howe (my grandfather) family and the Al Rogers family at Waterville Washington. I got to know her in later years and enjoyed our infrequent conversations.

I met her several times.
I have her book and waiting to read it.
Very adventurous lady.
You will be missed.

I shall always cherish my time with Ginny .. our visits ... sharing her stories of an interesting 'bold' life! What a legacy she leaves for conservation of Alaska! We all will miss Ginny!

An incredible woman who gifted many of us. I always appreciated our visits and your sense of adventure. Thank you for the guiding light.

A wonderful example of an adventurous life lived fully with modesty and warmth of spirit. The few occasions that our paths crossed in Fairbanks were memorable for her unwavering respect for the natural world and earthy dignity. She and Celia are fondly remembered out here by old timers.
