My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have been in CA for the past two weeks and didn't know of her passing until today. She was my PA at Women's Clinic until she retired. I LOVED her. Her kindness, caring, insight, and skill made me look forward to my yearly visits. I never made an appointment with the doctor after my first meeting with her. She was wonderful! My heart is with you.

Dear Rountree Family,
The news of Jo's death saddened those at Albemarle Hopeline. She gave her leadership and nursing skills to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Thus, she helped victims and their children rebuild their lives. She contributed hugely to the success of our organization with commitment and kindness. She was very, very special. We send our sympathy and love to each of you.
Sincerely, Susan Scurria, Board President

Earl & Family, I'm saddened to hear of Jo's passing. But rest assured, we all know she is rejoicing now in Heaven. I had the privilege of working for Jo at the Women's Clinic, and she was the kindest, most caring woman that I've ever known. And as a patient, she treated you like you were the only patient she had. So sorry for your loss. Helen L. Hunter

Mrs Jo was the voice I loved to hear in my ears!! She always always made my life easier at CWC and I have often thought of her!! I can still hear her sweet voice as I type these words!! I hadn't seen Mrs Jo in a very long time but her memory will always live on!! My deepest sympathies to her momma, son and daughter, as well as Mr. Earl and her grandson! My God lift you all up and strengthen you in the days and time to come!! She will be your special star always watching and loving you!! Thanks Mrs Jo for helping me be better at my job and ejecting the tapes when they were full of letting them beep all weekend ;-)
All my love Rountree's and Loy's!!
