Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts are with Lilo and family at this sad time. Ray was one of life's gentlemen and it has been a pleasure to have known him, albeit from a distance these last few years.

I first met Ray at Florida State in 1966.
He was the first to tell me about AFOSI.
I forgot his name until I walked into my
Supervisor's office in England. He had
an FSU sign in the office. It was Ray.
He was more than a boss. He was a friend
to both my wife, Monique, and myself.
We stayed in touch even after his retirement from the AF. Monique and
I lived in Spokane after I retired.
Monique called Ray and complained
about the snow and cold. Within days,
I had a call from Ray and was on a
plane for a job interview in NC. That
eventually ended with a career at ESC
with Ray again as my boss. We were
truly blessed to have Ray Goodman as
a friend. He was a man of great
character, a true patriot. He will be
missed.

Sad, sad news. Ray's steadfastness and immense courage in the face of great adversity have been an inspiration for all who knew him, not least his many friends and admirers in the Royal Air Force who in the past were privileged to work with him in the common cause. We will always remember him. May Lilo and his family find solace in the knowledge that Ray brought much joy into the world.

Ray and I started school together and went to the same church.
Every one liked Ray, he could always make you laugh, even though it may be in the middle of a class.
I have fond memories of Ray and I am glad I knew him.
May you find comfort and peace in your memories of him.
