Something told me to look up Dr.Connor. I am shocked at his passing.
In May and June of 1990 he excised a 6CM
'Acoustic Neuroma' from my head. He told me afterward that I was the sickest patient he ever had that lived.
Thanks to Dr. Connor I'm still here.

He was my Surgeon & Guardian Angel; he sat all night watching over my care in the Doctor's booth of the ICU after operating on me for 15 hours [after the 2nd surgery]. I was in and out but he'd still be there when I'd wake up and look over.
I thank him and send my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
God Bless.

28 years ago Dr Conner implanted a shunt in my son, Wesley. A more compassionate, intelligent or gentle surgeon I couldn't have hoped for. Years later, when Wesley was an angry teenager and blaming me and the world for his hydrocephalus, I took him to visit Dr Conner who patiently explained his condition more articulately than I ever could (this being pre-internet days) I was, and continue to be, grateful for Dr Scotts' empathetic words and attitude. I'm so sad to hear of his passing but happy to hear he was so blessed in his personal and family life.

After just finding out about Scott's passing, I'm in absolute shock. After 3 surgeries he performed and being under his care for 10 plus years. I've found him one of most the gentlest, most compassionate, and intelligent human beings I've met. My heart and prayers go out his family. He will be missed by all that have ever met him.

I first met Dr Conner when he operated on my sister Elizabeth in March of 2012. Our sister Cathy and I, waited until he came out of surgery to explain the complicated nature of her surgery telling us why it took longer than the pre-op estimate. We were so impressed with his thorough explanation as well as his exceptionally kind and gentle manner. When I stood up to thank him, he noticed my posture was almost identical to my sister Elizabeth's and said perhaps I needed his help! I told him I had an appointment to see him in six weeks. He operated on my lumbar spine in June relieving the back pain and sciatica down my leg. His partner had operated on me twice some years before. He asked Elizabeth if she and I "had a race, who would win?!" I have had no neuropathy since and I am grateful to have met him and to have had the good fortune to have him as my neurosurgeon. My sister Elizabeth bought a giant teddy bear after her surgery, and told me she had named it Edison!!
I lost my daughter on February 1st this year and she passed away in her sleep, at age 48, and we were best friends. My shock at losing my only child so unexpectedly, and hearing of your great loss: your husband, father, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, brilliant surgeon saddened me deeply. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve your great loss and as I grieve the loss of my daughter on the 1st day of the month of February and in her sleep leaving her father and I, her husband and 21 year old son, who will graduate from college next year. May God bless and keep you.
